Once, her hometown of Vienna Shores gave her everything she needed, surf, sand, and inspiration. But now The Revelry, her family’s beloved music venue, is closing, her best friend is distant, and her mother is slipping away. And for the first time in her career, Joni can’t seem to write a single song.

Until she hears it. A half-formed melody, threaded with a voice she can’t forget, sweet, funny, utterly addictive. Surely it’s just her imagination.

Except the very real, very gruff man behind that voice suddenly shows up in Vienna Shores. And he wants the same thing Joni does: to finish the song haunting them both, break their inexplicable connection, and move on.
