Where do you ship from and to?

We’re based in Australia and currently ship Australia-wide. If you’re outside Australia and eyeing something off, you’re welcome to email us and we’ll let you know if we can help.

When will my order be sent?

Orders are usually packed and on their way within 2–4 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays). During busy periods or special events it may take a little longer, but we always work as quickly as we can while still packing everything with care.

How long does delivery usually take?

Once your parcel has been dispatched, approximate delivery times are:
Standard: around 3–8 business days
Express: around 1–4 business days

These timeframes are a guide only and can vary depending on your location and the carrier.

How are shipping costs calculated?

Postage is calculated at checkout based on your location and the weight/size of your order. From time to time we run special shipping offers, which will be clearly advertised on our website or socials.

Returns, Problems & Damaged Parcels

Can I return or exchange my order?

Change-of-mind returns are limited because we’re a small business, but in many cases we can offer an exchange or store credit if the item is in its original condition and you contact us within 14 days of receiving your order. Email us with your order number and we’ll let you know what’s possible.

My parcel arrived damaged or something is wrong – what should I do?

If your books or items arrive damaged, faulty or incorrect, please email us as soon as you can with your order number and clear photos of the issue. We’ll assess what’s happened and work with you on a replacement, store credit or another suitable solution.

Can I return sale or clearance items?

Sale and clearance items are generally final sale unless they arrive damaged or faulty. Any exceptions will be noted on the specific product page.

Blind Date with a Book

What is a Blind Date with a Book?

Our Blind Date with a Book is a brand-new novel wrapped so the cover and title are a surprise. You won’t know exactly what you’ve got until you unwrap it.

Are the Blind Date books new or secondhand?

All Blind Date books are new. If we ever offer preloved books, they’ll be clearly described as such on the product page.

What else is included in a Blind Date parcel?

Alongside your mystery books, you’ll receive a handful of small treats chosen by Kellie, for example bookmarks, tabs or stickers, a cosy drink sachet and a little extra surprise. Contents may vary depending on stock and season.

What if my Blind Date book is a title I already own?

Because Blind Dates are mystery picks, there’s always a chance you’ll unwrap a story that’s already on your shelf. We’re not able to automatically replace duplicate titles, but if this happens, please get in touch with your order number. While we can’t promise a replacement in every case, we’ll always do our best to support a fair outcome and many readers love gifting their duplicate to a friend, family member or local library.

Pre-Orders & Special Editions

How do pre-orders work?

When you pre-order a book, you’re reserving your copy ahead of release. Payment is taken at checkout and your order will be dispatched once the stock arrives with us and is ready to ship.

What happens if I order in-stock items with a pre-order?

In most cases, your order will ship together once all items are available. If you’d like your in-stock items sooner, we recommend placing a separate order so they can be sent right away.

Do you stock signed, limited or special editions?

Yes – whenever we’re able to source them. Any signed copies, limited runs or special editions will be clearly labelled in the product description, including any special features (sprayed edges, bonus content, etc.).

Gifts, Notes & Vouchers

Can you send an order directly to a gift recipient?

Yes. Just enter the recipient’s name and address in the shipping section at checkout. We don’t include a printed invoice with prices inside the parcel, so it’s ready for gifting.

Can you add a handwritten note to my order?

We can. Leave your message in the order notes at checkout and we’ll handwrite it on a small card and include it with the parcel.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Digital gift vouchers are available and are delivered by email to the purchaser. You can forward the email or print the voucher to gift however you like. Vouchers can be used on any eligible items on our website.

Products & Sizing

Which devices do your Kindle covers and cases fit?

Each listing includes details of the compatible model(s). At the moment we mainly stock covers for popular Kindle sizes (such as Paperwhite models), and we’ll add more options over time. If you’re unsure if a cover will fit your device, send us your model name and we’ll double-check before you order.

Events & Author Nights

What kind of events do you host?

From time to time we run signings, launch nights and other romance-themed gatherings. Each event has its own listing with the date, location, ticket price and what’s included.

Does my event ticket include a copy of the book?

Some tickets include a book, others offer it as an optional extra. The event page will clearly state whether a book is included in the ticket price or available to purchase separately.

I can’t attend an event I’ve booked – what are my options?

Event tickets are generally non-refundable, but please contact us as soon as possible if something changes. Depending on the event, we may be able to arrange a ticket transfer or organise collection/postage of a signed copy if books are part of the package.

Collabs, Authors & Partnerships

I’m an author or publisher – can we chat about stocking or an event?

We’re always open to hearing from romance authors and publishers. Please email us with a short introduction, details about your book(s) and any relevant links (website, socials, etc.), and we’ll come back to you if it’s a good fit for our readers.

I’m a content creator do you offer PR or collaboration opportunities?

Occasionally we partner with creators whose community aligns with our romance-first corner of the internet. If you’d like to be considered, email us with your media kit, social links and a brief outline of the kind of collaboration you have in mind. While we can’t work with everyone, we genuinely appreciate every enquiry.
