1. Overview
At It’s A Love Story Book Shop, we take great care in curating and packing every order so your new read arrives in perfect condition. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make it right—please review our returns and refund policy below.
2. Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns for exchange or store credit within 14 days of your purchase date. To qualify, your item must:
- Be unused, unread, and in its original condition and packaging.
- Include your proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation).
- Be approved for return prior to shipping it back to us.
Please note: returns are only accepted for items that are faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
3. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or with a printing issue, please contact us within 7 days of receiving it at hello@itsalovestorybookshop.com.au with:
- Your order number; and
- Clear photos of the issue.
Once reviewed, we’ll arrange a replacement, store credit, or refund where appropriate.
4. Change of Mind
We’re unable to offer returns, refunds, or exchanges for change of mind or buyer error. As a small business, each order is handled individually and with care, so we appreciate your understanding.
5. Return Authorisation
Before sending anything back, please email us for approval and detailed return instructions. Unapproved returns may not be accepted. Return shipping costs (where applicable) are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty or the error was ours.
6. Processing Your Return
Once your return has been received and inspected, we’ll notify you by email. If approved, your store credit or exchange will be processed within 5–7 business days.
