1. Overview
At It’s A Love Story Book Shop, we want your next great read to reach you safely and as quickly as possible. This policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery times, and order tracking so you know exactly what to expect.
2. Processing Time
All orders are carefully packed and dispatched within 2–4 business days of purchase (excluding weekends and public holidays). You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped, including a tracking link if available.
If your order includes pre-order items, your entire order will be shipped once all items are in stock. We recommend placing separate orders if you’d like in-stock titles to arrive sooner.
3. Shipping Rates & Delivery
We currently ship Australia-wide using Australia Post and trusted courier partners. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery location and order weight.
- Standard Shipping: 3–8 business days after dispatch
- Express Shipping: 1–4 business days after dispatch
Delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary depending on your location, postal delays, or public holidays.
4. Free Shipping Offers
From time to time, we may offer Free Shipping promotions—such as a launch special or orders over a set value. These offers will be clearly displayed on our website and applied automatically at checkout when eligible.
5. Order Tracking
Once your order is on its way, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can follow your parcel’s journey via the link provided.
If you haven’t received tracking details within 5 business days of ordering, please contact us at hello@itsalovestorybookshop.com.au so we can help.
6. Delays and Lost Parcels
We do our best to ensure your books arrive on time, but occasional postal delays can occur—especially during holidays or peak periods. If your parcel appears delayed or missing, please contact us so we can investigate with Australia Post.
Please note that It’s A Love Story Book Shop is not responsible for delivery delays or losses caused by incorrect addresses or courier issues outside our control.
7. International Shipping
At this time, we ship within Australia only. We hope to offer international shipping in the future as our little bookshop grows—follow our socials or subscribe to our newsletter for updates.
8. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your order arrives damaged or with an incorrect item, please email us at hello@itsalovestorybookshop.com.au within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and clear photos so we can quickly resolve the issue.
9. Changes or Cancellations
Once your order has been processed, we’re unable to make changes or cancellations. Please double-check your address and items carefully before checkout.
